Poor, poor application... Feel robbed.

Either they allow me to download my previous purchases or they refund my money, disgraceful, it is supposed that revisions to applications are for the better not otherwise. Truly upset and disappointed.

Stopped Working

I have tried downloading magazines in my subscription but I get an error message each time. Not impressed.

Beware

This is Newsweek? They dont even reply to emails concerning this flakey app. I have paid for a subscription for a year and it just doesnt work, BW couldnt care less !

Doesnt Work

This app is an extreme disappointment. I have a valid subscriptions been unable to download the magazine for several weeks due to "authorization" errors despite the fact that it says my iTUnes subscritpions is active. This happens frequently. Avoid this app.

Garbage

Doesnt do anything other than charge your credit card. No content is available.

Newsweek new app

I am anxious to try this app. Right now it appears that the magazine opens in portrait view. If that is the case I will be very disappointed, because I prefer landscape view. I am also curious to see if the problem with photosphere has been resolved.

Front Size

The front size is too small. Hope we can adjust text size without zoom out or zoom in.

Magazines fail to show up

I received several notification that new magazines are available. But when I go into the app it shows one from a month ago and everything I do to fix it doesnt help. I did purchase a yearly subscription.

Dont download DONT SUBSCRIBE

last week through the app for an electronic only subscription. Was able to download one issue. Now app wants me to sign in again. Unfortunately, app not letting me sign in. NO HELP from Newsweek, app developer or iTunes. Am now stuck with (about) $25 annual subscription with auto renewal next year. All I want is to CANCEL this Newsweek subscription. And get my money back. Worst comes to worst, (well in advance) I will make sure there is no credit card on file and no money sitting in my iTunes account, so I cant be ripped off next year.

Really love that I can read it on my phone. Good visuals.

Update doesnt work

Since doing the update I now can not get my new issue

Great app for reliable news source

It took me just a short while to navigate this new Newsweek app and now I really like it. There are quick links from the table of contents to quickly take you to the articles you want to read. Ive always enjoyed Newsweek as a reliable news source.

Love the convenience

This is a great app! It navigates thru the pages very well. I love the convenience of having an app that really works! You can go back to previous copies-which is a bonus for me!

I would like to be able to get my copy

After hours spent not being successful... Im giving it ONE more try. THIS ATTEMPT! I get THE WEEK, TIME, automatically...from the magazine page... but Zino? interferes. Why cant you send it like the others? Ive subscribed since before Methuselah ... Ive had the patience of Job! PLEASE get it RIGHT.... or No More Newsweek for me. I do miss the paper format. Id like to see if I finally receive the digital !

Bad App, Bad Service

Without a doubt the worst online publication out there. Repeatedly I have difficulty signing in, no recognition of my password - even when I go through the process of changing it and little or no support available. Now I cant sign in, my library has disappeared, and finding support is a mystery. If they cant handle an online journal, they need to stick with the print version. At least the USPS is reliable.

Have had it with Newsweek

I was a print subscriber for 30 years, but the delivery of the electronic edition has been awful. Its just not worth the trouble anymore. I have several other digital subscriptions that work well, so I barely have any print magazines any more. But Newsweek has continually given me conflicting account information, limited access to the subscription I paid for, and doesnt seem to even get the concept that they have some responsibility to deliver what was paid for. I still have time left, but I just cant spend the time to get it fixed. Good bye Newsweek.

Problem solved

Like some of the other reviewers, I was not able to login after the update. None of my email addresses worked for the password reset, and I couldnt get CS to return help requests. However, I started messing around and discovered if you click on the little gear icon in the top right corner and click on "Restore All Purchases," you will get back all the old magazines you paid for and the download button for the new issue will be enabled. Minus two stars for being a pain in the backside...on a positive note, the new format looks good.

Landscape View No Longer Avaiable

The latest app upgrade has eliminated the ability to view in landscape orientation. The app is now useless on a flight where one uses the seat back tray to rest the iPad for viewing in landscape mode. Flights are where many users catch up on periodicals. Please fix this.
